This was more of a jogging dog walk, as I am feeling a bit sick, the girls are recovering from being sick and it was way colder out than it looked. I wore what I thought was a warm enough pair of gloves, but my hands were non functional frozen claws by the time I finished and I was very glad to be done. The girls were nice and toasty though with their hooded down jackets, hats, mittens, blankets and the greenhouse warmth of the fully enclosed Chariot.
It was colder than it looked today. I was out for 3+ hours and had various parts of me going numb most of the time. And that was in the sun.
ReplyDeleteYeah, seemed like a no hoper this morning, but then the sun came out and it looked nicer than it was (that and my thermometer sensor was in the sun at the time and was reading 35). I could not believe how quickly my fingers became numb. Not to mention, I kind of wished I had a balaclava too, the wind was sharp.
